Parents are encouraged to visit the school prior to submitting an Application for enrolment by registering their child with us online- "Register". To schedule an appointment for a visit, please fill in the "Book a visit" online form. The parents will be provided with a guidance for their classroom observation.
After you’ve had a chance to observe our Montessori environment and meet our team, the next step is to submit your registration by submitting the online form "Register". Once a child has been registered at Otkrivatel, parents receive a confirmation. If, at the time of registration, available, openings have already been filled, the child will be placed on the waiting list immediately.
We invite the child (toddlers and primary children: accompanied by a parents) to visit Otkrivatel Montessori School. During this visit, the Toddlers / Primary aged child is involved in work with a Montessori teacher (our Psychologist could observe) for a period of 1 to 2 hours; the Elementary aged child is involved in classroom activities for a school day and observed by the Montessori pedagogue and the School psychologist. Otkrivatel Montessori School makes admission decisions within 10 days of the preliminary conducted visit of the child. Children are selected from the waiting list according to their age strictly in registration order and after the child's visit and meeting with the family. The administration and faculty work hard to ensure that each child is placed in an environment where her needs will be met.
The meeting aims to discuss the expectation of the parents and the school. When parents choose to enroll their child at Otkrivatel, they agree to support our mission statement, follow the rules and guidelines set out in the Parent Handbook, and abide by Otkrivatel’s policies. The main objective of the meeting is to align those.
Once Otkrivatel Montessori School offers a place to the child, the family is provided with an Enrollment package that should be signed within 10 days. Application form, contract, enrollment fee and deposit are required for enrollment of a child. The required set of child documents (birth certificate copy, medical tests for child care enrolment, Immunisation card, note from the child’s GP) have to be provided prior the first school day.
The school accepts students if there are any places available at the school. Admission of students complies with the requirements and conditions made by the School Management and Pedagogical Committee in accordance with relevant regulations.
