These results reflect the requirements of the national educational standards and demonstrate solid academic knowledge and skills developed in relation to the national curricula in BLL and Mathematics.<\/p>\n<p><b>Highlights of the Results:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Bulgarian Language and Literature (BLL):<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><\/span><b>Average score:<\/b> 80.63 points<\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><b>53% of students<\/b> scored above 85 points (Excellent 6.00)<\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><b>Highest score:<\/b> 94.5 points<span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Mathematics:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><\/span><b>Average score:<\/b> 83.64 points<\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><b>79% of students<\/b> scored above 85 points (Excellent 6.00)<\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><b>Highest score:<\/b> 99 points<\/li>\n<li><span><\/span><b>36% of students<\/b> achieved more than 95 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><b>Key Achievements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>More than half of the students demonstrated excellent performance<\/strong> in BLL.<\/li>\n<li>Nearly <strong>three-quarters of the class achieved excellent marks<\/strong> in Mathematics.<\/li>\n<li><b>60% of the students showed excellent results in both subjects.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>All students who have been part of Discover International School since Preschool and Grade 1 showed <b>outstanding results on the assessments<\/b>, confirming the long-term positive impact of our educational programme on their academic and personal development over the years.<\/li>\n<li>The active participation of <strong>our international students, who make up around<\/strong> <b>20% of the class<\/b>, contributes daily to the diversity and strong global awareness within our school culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><b>Important Perspective on NEA Results:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The National External Assessment measures knowledge and skills related <b>only to the national curriculum requirements for specific subjects<\/b>. It does <b>not reflect the full development of critical and creative thinking, research skills, communication, social skills, and self-management<\/b>, which are central to the philosophy of the <b>International Baccalaureate (IB) and the Primary Years Programme (PYP).<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Our students consistently develop:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><\/span>skills for inquiry and information analysis;<\/li>\n<li><span><\/span>the ability to apply knowledge in new and real-life contexts;<\/li>\n<li><span><\/span>personal responsibility, independence, and collaboration with others;<\/li>\n<li><span><\/span>values and qualities outlined in the <b>IB Learner Profile<\/b> \u2013 curiosity, reflection, empathy, responsibility, courage, and integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The NEA results provide only a <b>partial picture of their progress<\/b> and do not fully showcase their growing conceptual understanding, interdisciplinary connections, and personal engagement with learning \u2013 essential elements in the IB PYP approach.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><b>In Summary:<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><\/span>Students demonstrate <b>strong academic knowledge according to national standards<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li><span><\/span>A significant part of the class achieved <b>excellent results<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>The development of key skills and attitudes remains a <b>primary focus in our educational programme<\/b>, beyond the limits of standardised assessments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>We warmly congratulate our students, teachers, and parents for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to holistic learning, which prepares our children for the challenges of an ever-changing and interconnected world.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud of their overall growth \u2013 as knowledgeable, thoughtful, and active young individuals!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"We are delighted to share the excellent results achieved by our Grade 4 students on the National External Assessment (NEA) in Bulgarian Language and Literature (BLL) and Mathematics.
