Dear Discover International School Community,<\/p>\n

As we step into a new school year together, we welcome each of you \u2014 students, parents, and colleagues \u2014 with warmth and enthusiasm. At Discover International School, we are proud to be an IB World School, and with this privilege comes the responsibility to live out the values that define who we are and the kind of learners and global citizens we aspire to be.<\/p>\n

This year, we focus on seven guiding values \u2014 Responsibility, Authenticity, Clarity, Strategy, Action, Community, Mastery, and Focus <\/b>\u2014 as a framework for our shared growth. These values connect deeply to the IB Learner Profile<\/b>, helping us nurture students who are principled, reflective, balanced, and caring.<\/p>\n

  • <\/span>Clarity<\/b> helps us plan thoughtfully and give constructive feedback, aligning with the reflective learner profile as we strive for better awareness and decisions.<\/li>\n
  • <\/span>Strategy<\/b> points us toward quality, sustainability, and creativity. As thinkers and risk-takers, we design learning experiences and community rituals that inspire growth and innovation.<\/li>\n
  • <\/span>Action<\/b> reminds us that success comes through consistent practice. Like inquirers, we take small steps toward big goals and embrace challenges as opportunities to learn.<\/li>\n

    As we begin this school year, let us remember that these values are not abstract\u2014they come alive in our routines, our classrooms, our conversations, and our interactions with one another. By living them together, we strengthen the fabric of our community and model for our children what it means to be lifelong learners who contribute to a better, more peaceful world.<\/p>\n
