Otkrivatel Montessori School s looking for English language teacher to work in our Children’s House from September 2022
This is a community of 15 children. The appointed individual would work alongside the AMI trained 0-3 guide, and AMI trained 0-3 assistant. During the work cycle the lead and support guides have active roles in the class for guiding the children to make joyful discoveries, gain independence and build self-expression.
What are the requirements?
– trained in early education.
– experienced in practical work with young children.
– fluent in English (English native speakers have an advantage).
– positive and open-minded.
– a love for children.
– communicative and creative.
– honest and responsible.
– patient and consistent.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities?
– Working alongside the lead role of the environment.
– Supporting children in making their choices of activity.
– Supporting the children in completing their activity.
– Maintaining the environment throughout the day.
– Being prepared to lead whole class groups when needed.
– Working as part of a team to plan outdoor/afternoon activities.
– Creating materials for the class as needed.
– To step into other roles in the team when necessary including covering for the lead teacher (and giving presentations in their absence)
