Reflection from the lockdown

Our buildings are closed, but the work with the children is intacted. Collaboration with a team of children, elementary students, parents and teachers delivers great results every day.
The discoveries continue, the minds are curious, the hearts are open. The work of the children shows that their development does not stop for a moment, and the hours in front of the screen are limited in the necessary dosage to enjoy the feeling of being together and having a meaningful connection in the community of friends and teachers.

As all parents around the world we were facing many challenges. We might felt under pressure to find time for work, to keep the household running and to keep the children busy and occupied. Yet, Maria Montessori said: “Under the urge of nature and according to the laws of development, the child is obliged to be serious about two fundamental things . . . the first is the love of activity . . . the second fundamental thing is independence.”
Together we can.
